Kymber Dao here, reaching out from Livermore, CA. As many of you know, I am truly passionate about Softball, and spend just about every day on the dirt or in the gym training. My goal is to become a collegiate athlete, and I need your help to turn this goal into a reality.
Academically, I am an honor roll student and have maintained a 3.5+ GPA in school. I was accepted into Livermore High Schools Green Engineering Program based on high test scores in both math & english as well as by teacher recommendation. I hope to pursue a degree in either business finance or engineering while playing softball in college.
I work hard and consistently push my limits. As the road ahead becomes more costly each year, I will need the help of friends, family and community to reach my goals. Team fees alone reach $6k annually. This does not include additional private training, equipment costs and travel fees.
My name is Kymber Dao, I am an American, based in Livermore, CA. I have been competing in Softball since I was 11 years old. Over the past 5 years, I have competed numerous PGF tournaments and in the past year have attended the Zoom into June Showcase as well as the Colorado Sparkler I have attended college camps at University of Oregon, UC Berkeley, Saint Marys and San Francisco State.
My main achievements, in addition to earning and maintaining a position on an elite travel team, have been batting a .778 with 3 home runs in Arizona this year. I have also had the opportunity to represent my school team, the Livermore Cowboys, as the starting varsity catcher my freshman year.
My long-term athletic dream is to play softball in college while I study either business or engineering. In the short term, however, I hope to continue to compete in highly competitive tournaments and showcases around the nation.
Between my studies and being a full-time athlete, I am always on the move. Your contribution would allow me to focus more of my time on training, allowing me to reach my athletic goals.
