Hello,
My name is Dakota Howard and I am from a small city west of Edmonton called Spruce Grove.
I am truly passionate about Swimming, and I can be found in the water at the Tri-Leisure nearly everyday. As this season started, my goals were to qualify for the Canadian Junior Championships this summer. Not only have I achieved those goals early in the season, but I recently qualified for the Canadian Swimming Trials to be held in Victoria, BC! In my young life I have faced impossible odds, however today these impossible odds fuel my determination to become one of the top swimmers in Canada! I need your help to turn my 'impossible dream' into my "I'M - Possible dream."
My coach once said to me, "If you want to be a champ, you need to practice like a champ" and those words inspire me to push my limits daily, and all my teammates know that I am not afraid of hard work. But at the same time, this road to success is costly. By supporting me today, you are investing into something bigger than just a fundraiser.
